Secular Humanism

Humanism is a philosophical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, as well as their capacity for reason and critical thinking. It regards humans as the primary source of meaning and values in the world, rather than relying on supernatural or divine entities. Humanism encompasses a range of beliefs and perspectives, but at its core is a commitment to the dignity, worth, and potential of every individual.

A key element of humanism is the rejection of dogma, superstition, and irrationality. Humanists prioritize evidence, reason, and scientific inquiry as the basis for understanding the world. They encourage critical thinking and skepticism, and they believe that humans have the capacity to solve problems and improve their own lives through rational means.
